Linda is an author, teacher, friend, mentor, and confidante who willingly shares her challenges, learning lessons, and experiences with others while helping them to find their paths to living fulfilled and purposeful lives in Christ. I call myself a Mentoring-Life Coach.
When Linda was just a youth, her family experienced a frightening event when her father was admitted to a hospital for three months. Up to this point, Linda had never personally encountered God and even considered Him to be a mythical being. While her father was hospitalized, Linda's mother began attending a women's bible study, while her siblings attended a local Christian youth group. They would return from these gatherings excited to share what they were learning about God, but Linda was unconvinced.
Soon after, the hospital communicated that her father's stay could be indefinite, inspiring Linda to pray for the first time. What began as a nursery rhyme prayer she had learned as a child turned into the prayer of a desperate girl talking to a "friend" and asking them for help. She fell asleep weeping.
A couple of days later, the hospital phoned, declaring Linda's father was doing well and would be returning home. At that moment, Linda realized God had heard her silent prayer and responded to her need, revealing Himself as kind and responsive in her time of trouble. He cared deeply for her and her family, and He was a loving, ever-present support who was faithful and dependable.
In the decades since, Linda has dedicated herself to the work of God, which includes leading various children's and women's ministries, bible studies, mentoring people of all age groups, and authoring multiple books and devotionals.
Even in the face of many personal challenges, Linda has remained steadfast in her pursuit of the Lord and in helping others to cultivate their God-given gifts and find purpose and meaning in their lives.
